STF Abisko Turiststation is at the heart of Abisko National Park, where you can experience northern lights, midnight sun, hiking and skiing. Stay in a hotel, hostel, or cabin. We are open year round with full service, in terms of restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and 3-course dinner, guided tours, store with rental of equipment and the chairlift up to STF Aurora Sky Station.

Full service is available from the end of June to the end of September and mid-November to the end of April but is limited in May, early June and from late September to mid-November.

For example, a visit to the STF Aurora Sky Station for northern lights spotting, midnight sun hikes, ice climbing, snowshoe hiking, or a day trip to the unique boulder fields at Kärkevagge to visit the mythical lake Trollsjön. It is km long and divided into five sections between Hemavan and Abisko.
The first or last section, Dag Hammarskjöld trail, runs through spectacular mountain landscapes between Abisko and Nikkaluokta and is km long. Hiking this route takes about days. Restaurant available. Opening hours may vary depending on season. Fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. The kitchen is shared with other guests. Food and equipment for outdoor activities are sold in the shop.
